Category Administrator

Job Purpose

The Category Administrator supports the UK & EMEA Category and Sales teams by managing and maintaining EPOS and Category data, ensuring accuracy and correct formatting. They update segmentation for new SKU’s, assist the sales team with completing new line forms and administrative tasks, and maintain category and sales dashboards. Regular store visits are also a key part of the role to provide capture instore promotional activity, spacing and new items in store.

This role deals with a wide variety of tasks including, but not limited to the following:

  • Download EPOS and Category data to check for accuracy.
  • Maintain and update segmentation tables for new SKUs.
  • Update dashboards with latest data delivery.
  • Conduct regular store visits to capture promotions and new listings.
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks from the Category manager to support business needs such as gap analysis, NPD
  • Support the Sales team with completing new line forms and other administrative tasks.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Microsoft suite with Power BI is a desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently, manage workload effectively, and stay proactive in identifying tasks.
  • Well-organised and structured approach.
  • Clear and confident communication skills to collaborate with Category and Sales teams.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or data-focused role is beneficial but not essential.
  • Willingness to travel to stores on a weekly basis to capture instore sales and promotional activity.
