Marketing Assistant – UK / EMEA



Job Purpose

The focus of this position is to support the regional brand team to develop and deliver regional brand plans to support brand growth ambitions. The individual must champion the region on the global stage.

This role deals with a wide variety of tasks including, but not limited to the following:

• Support Brand Manager in the development of trade marketing materials e.g. digital assets, printed POS, presentation decks.
• Support Brand Manager with delivery of BCorp communications strategy.
• Support Brand Manager with activation of NPD/EPD, with particular focus on collating images and copy for retailer websites.
• Support Brand Manager with collating information for monthly and quarterly Global Brand Sharing Sessions.
• Manage the uploading of new product images & product information to Brandbank and maintain current listings to facilitate the grocery retailers.
• Exhibitions and brand days: Co-ordination of brand presence at exhibitions, including liaison with specialist agencies, co-ordinating product samples, merchandising (UK) and support briefings for MPM team members.
• Retailer Websites: Working with team members to facilitate the updating of content by proving product images and copy where needed.
• Competitive analysis: Delivery of competitive reviews and tracking of key brands across markets – UK/EMEA
• Budget administration in support of Marketing Manager and Line Manager to monitor brand spend.
• Ensuring that administrative systems are accurately maintained and up to date.
• Brand compliance ensuring that 3rd party agents and distributors are representing and promoting the Brand in a complicit manor, that is associated with our Brand guidelines regarding product delivery progress.
• Measurement of success per targeted campaign released.
• Working with consumer team to identify, purchase and manage merchandise.
• Support the team with community management of global organic social media channels when required.
• Support the team with scheduling for global organic social media channels if required.
• Any other duties commensurate with the level of responsibility of this role.


Knowledge, Skills and Experience


• Willingness to roll up sleeves and take things on
• Commitment to learn and develop in a marketing role
• IT literate including use of PowerPoint, word, excel and outlook
• Highly organised who can prioritise workloads.
• Emerging budget-management skills and proficiency
• Ability to think creatively and innovatively
• Effective relationship builder – dedicated to meeting expectations of internal and external customers, developing and maintaining effective 3rd party relationships gaining trust and respect, also working alongside teams in remote offices to share learnings.


• Experience with FMCG digital product content providers e.g. Brandbank
• Experience with working with internal artwork teams and brief writing.
