Marketing Assistant



Job Purpose

To support the Global Brand Manager in execution of Applaws UK/ EMEA brand communications with specific focus on marketing support including asset management, digital shelf management, trade marketing materials and exhibitions.

This role requires someone with energy and a commitment to learn and develop in a marketing role.

Main Responsibilities

  • Brand Assets: Working with the UK EMEA teams to ensure that all brand assets are up to date on internal systems and on the digital shelf across multiple retailer websites. Also, responsible for marketing stock control, including sourcing of giveaways and product samples.
  • Ongoing brand management: Support with updates to brand guidelines and creation of supporting brand materials, including POS, social and digital content – either through agency partners or our in-house artwork team.
  • Websites: updating new products and content as determined by the brand plan. Also managing ongoing maintenance across all core sites.
  • Influencers: support the influencer programme, through the collation and delivery of product samples and brand materials.
  • Trade Marketing: Support the Trade Marketing Executive to provide ongoing trade support to internal teams to help sell-in products: including supporting the development of trade marketing materials such as sell in decks, printed literature, posters, giveaways, digital assets (banners) and customer specific advertising copy and well as product training guides.
  • Exhibitions: Assist with the co-ordination of brand presence at exhibitions including liaison with specialist agencies, co-ordinating product samples, merchandising (UK) and support briefings for MPM team members.
  • Day to day liason with agencies, including briefing and implementation.
  • Day to day liaison with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Budget administration in support of Brand Manager to monitor brand spend including: raising POs, tracking spent and invoice processing.
  • Brand compliance ensuring that 3rd party agents and distributors are representing and promoting our brands in a complicit manor, that is associated with our brand guidelines.



  • Support Brand Manager with planning out NPI/D projects
  • Support with embedding best practice to Brand compliance

  • IT literate including use of Powerpoint, word, excel and outlook
  • Highly organised who can prioritise workloads
  • Emerging budget-management skills and proficiency
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Hootsuite, Tribe experience would be preferred.
