Senior Brand Manager – Global (Reveal/ Encore)

Job Purpose

The focus of this position is to develop and manage brand equity assets based on brand strategy, and to articulate brand DNA.

To develop strong working relationships with regional brand teams to gain insight and understanding in key markets, enabling and supporting regional teams to deliver activation excellence.

Development and delivery of and engaging and effective global consumer brand communications strategy and plan.

This role deals with a wide variety of tasks including, but not limited to the following:

  • Develop strong working relationships with regional brand teams to gain insight and understanding in key markets, enabling and supporting regional teams to deliver activation excellence.
  • Support the Marketing Manager with the delivery of the 5 year brand growth plan, to include reporting of KPI’s.
  • Champion global brand health measurement within the business.
  • Support the Marketing Manager with the development of compelling brand propositions to drive equity for Reveal/ Encore and increase brand value.
  • Lead the definition, communication of and delivery of short- and long-term brand strategy.
  • Lead or support the Marketing Manager with the development and delivery of and engaging and effective global consumer brand communications strategy and plan.
  • Strongly contribute to the development of a global insight driven annual brand plan and collaboration with regional marketing teams on input.
  • Own maintenance of Reveal / Encore visual identity and brand world.
  • Champion brand guardianship and best in class creative effectiveness at a global level in all forms.
  • Own the maintenance of brand guidelines and creation of supporting brand toolkits for both trade and consumer brand activation across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Develop and execute global brand B2C and B2B toolkits for brand and product innovation launches.
  • Support with approvals of regional websites to ensure consistent global brand identity
  • Guide the team to act as the day-to-day representative for brand on owned projects at global NPD/EPD stage gate project meetings and lead on platinum projects.
  • Lead or support the Marketing Manager to facilitate the sharing globally of marketing best practices, support collaboration and drive scalability of opportunities. Provide support to regional offices, liaising with key marketing counterparts at these locations.
  • Manage day to day relationships with counterparts in digital, design and communication agencies, including briefing and delivery, to ensure accurate and timely projects delivered within budget.
  • Updating of the global marketing budget where applicable– raising POs, tracking spent and invoice processing.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Experience supporting multiple markets and building strong working relationships with remote teams.
  • IT literate including use of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • Highly organised and can prioritise workloads.
  • Understanding of brand development and activation within FMCG.
  • Ability to analyse results from which can be used to come up with suitable solutions that can solve brand related issues.
  • Attention to detail – ensures accurate delivery of information and collateral in a timely and effective manner.
  • Effective Communicator – ability to communicate updates and issues.
  • Budget-management skills and proficiency
  • Working within a fast-paced FMCG environment, there needs to be a willingness to roll up sleeves and take on new challenges as the business grows.
  • Effective relationship builder – dedicated to meeting expectations of internal and external customers, developing and maintaining effective 3rd party relationships gaining trust and respect, also working alongside teams in remote offices to share learnings.
  • Time management – Uses time effectively and efficiently and works well under time pressure and to set deadlines.
  • Brand development and communications experience.
  • Energy and a commitment to learn and develop in a marketing role.

Desirable

  • Experience of managing marketing platforms and directing marketing activity.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
  • Line management experience with proven ability to motivate, coach and develop reports to achieve high performance.
