Credit Controller



Job Purpose

To be responsible for the timely collection of debts owed by customers, accurate maintenance of the sales ledger and day-to-day management of the Invoice-Discounting Facility.  This role will cover MPM Products Limited and MPM USA.

This role deals with a wide variety of work tasks including, but not limited to the following:

Main Responsibilities

  • Accurate posting of cash-receipts to customer accounts in the sales ledger
  • Timely collection of amounts owed from Customers, escalating any issues to the relevant stakeholders e.g. MPM Sales team
  • Take responsibility for investigating and resolving any deductions from payment
  • Maintenance of appropriate credit limits with existing customers, and credit-checking prospective Customers
  • Post and reconcile Invoice Discounting accounts
  • Daily update of sales ledgers




  • Minimum 2 years experience in a credit-control or equivalent role
  • Ability to use own initiative and take responsibility to resolve issues
  • Good attention to detail
  • Effective Communicator, with ability to communicate clearly and concisely with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Experience of MS Excel, with basic skills


  • Experience of using Sage 200
