Procurement Data Administrator

Job Purpose

To clean, maintain and update supplier, product and market data in MPM systems, and provide administration support to the Procurement Team.

Key Responsibilities

This role deals with a wide variety of tasks including, but not limited to the following:

  • Clean, maintain and update supplier and product data in PIM and other relevant systems (Data Steward)
  • Periodically update, review and communicate commodity price/input cost movements
  • Periodically update, review and communicate supplier financial analysis
  • Conduct analysis of supplier performance and spend (quarterly)
  • Track supplier capacities and highlight any opportunities or issues
  • Update cost price trackers and tender documents
  • Track COGS savings and CPI impacts
  • Support the procurement team with daily administrative tasks and reporting
  • Create and distribute monthly procurement report
  • Assist with onboarding new suppliers
  • Collate periodic market reviews (including samples)

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential: 

  • Strong Excel, Outlook, PowerBI and Database skills
  • Highly numerate
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to communicate with stakeholders internal & external, at all levels
  • Can work to deadlines and within defined standards
  • Constructively challenges in the pursuit of continuous improvement
  • Uses time effectively to manage a busy workload with the ability to prioritise important tasks
  • Desire to learn and develop to take on further responsibilities in the future

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of utilising AI applications to improve business process
  • Previous experience in a Procurement function
