Job Purpose

Responsible for MPMs product portfolio import registrations of products in to relevant countries across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

Ownership

This role deals with a wide variety of tasks including, but not limited to the following:

Own:

  • Completion and ownership of import registrations for all countries, globally.
  • Update Head of Technical and wider business on any key changes to registrations requirements.
  • Own the relationship with outsourced registrations consultants and partners
  • Work closely with our manufacturers to ensure key documentation is gathered for registrations.
  • Review key documentation acquired from the manufacturers, authorities, or the registrations certificates to ensure the information on the documentation is accurate.
  • Own registrations requirements for factory switches, onboarding suppliers and all projects registrations requirements.
  • Ad hoc registrations requests to be reviewed and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Any registrations issues or challenges to be raised to relevant key stakeholders
  • Create and maintain a robust registrations process, including procedures, key portal access information visible to the wider technical team, and master registrations tracker.
  • Create and maintain a timelines calendar or tracker to ensure registrations work is completed within a timely manner ahead of any registrations renewals or registrations expiries.
  • Work closely with Customer Services and Supply Chain to ensure the registrations process is working optimally and issues easily resolved and closed out.
  • Accountable for the registrations requirements of translations for artworks overstickers.

Support

  • Support and attend all relevant calls pertaining to registrations
  • Liaise with 3rdparty agencies and support personnel to ensure compliance
  • Investigate and make recommendations to support compliant entry into new markets. Adapt to changes to existing markets and document accordingly
  • Best practices and Ways of Working with our factories to ensure compliance and are responsive to our requests
  • Support the ongoing work by MPM as a B Corp accredited company, personally or using the team members.
  • Artwork checks & specifications support – Working with the Artwork & Specifications Projects Lead for artwork checks, specifications support where required.
  • Cross-functional training and coaching on relevant frameworks.
  • Any other duties commensurate with the level of responsibility of this role.
  • Deputy – Different areas will be mutually agreed to cover off in a deputy capacity as part of the teams development and ability to work agile as a team when other team members are off from work.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • 1 years’ minimum experience of working within registrations function, or import/export across any global markets. Ideally within Pet Care, but any FMCG is acceptable
  • Experience of dealing with import regulatory bodies
  • Experience of influencing without authority and indirectly, cross functionally
  • IT literate – use of Microsoft applications, CoPilot, Sage (useful)
  • Attention to detail – ensures accurate delivery of information and collateral in a timely and effective manner
  • Team Player – Comfortable working both individually and as part of a team
  • Organizational skills – ability to organize yourself and your tasks to meet the demands of the business.
  • Effective communicator – excellent communication skills are required
  • Time management – uses time effectively to manage a busy workload

Desirable

  • Proficient in presentation skills for both external & internal stakeholders
  • Good understanding or experience of the Pet Food Industry
  • Data dashboards, trending, reporting experience
